MALTA

Citizenship By Investment Program

The Government of Malta conceived the Individual Investor Programme (IIP) to attract qualifying ultra-high net worth investors who pass the country’s strict due diligence requirements. As one of very few European countries to offer full citizenship through an expedient route, Malta is an attractive choice for investors.                                                    Malta is a highly respected and neutral country that has been a member of the European Union since 2004.

The Malta IIP is thus highly suited to those individuals and their families interested in obtaining EU citizenship and the right to live and work throughout Europe.

In order to obtain citizenship through the Malta IIP, applicants and their families must not only make the required investment, but also hold Maltese residence status for the 12-month period immediately preceding the day their certificate of naturalization is issued. A thorough due diligence process is performed on applicants and their families before naturalization is granted
